Composable by design

Idetik is not a viewer but a framework for building viewers. Define viewports with your own cameras, controls, and image, volume, or segmentation layers.

OME-Zarr native

Base support for N-dimensional, multi-scale, multi-channel OME-Zarr. Point Idetik at a local or remote store with no conversion step. Version 0.4/0.5 supported.

Chunk streaming

Chunks are streamed based on what the camera needs at the current zoom and nothing more. Preconfigured policies allow for smooth temporal playback.

Built to be extended

Subclass Layer to render your own data and add custom input handlers, or plug in your own data loader. Renderables and overlays are public building blocks.
